It’s been a whirlwind year of construction projects, furniture installs, and photoshoots, and after a long stint of completely abandoning my own house, I finally gave our entryway a little update! I was inspired by this beautiful amaranth I had recently used on a photoshoot. I cannot get enough of its texture and deep jewel tones (I dream of having an entire amaranth patch of my own one day). It may have been 100+ degrees outside at the time, but this restyle has me very excited for the upcoming Fall season!
If you’ve been following for a while, you’ll know our entryway has undergone many iterations over the years. One of the key pieces that took this space to the next level is the gorgeous vintage rug sourced by Woven Abode. I love the combination with the rustic elm console and the sleek brass mirror.
I replaced the standard cylindrical lampshade with a tapered shade (you can purchase the lamp base without the shade which is nice!). And added some candle sticks in my favorite muted olive color. Click here to see this space in motion – the dappled afternoon sunlight is magic!

I’m excited to have this one small space Fall-ready despite the summer weather outside. I’m NEVER ahead of the game with seasonal decor. Will be adding more Autumn inspired touches throughout our home soon!
